“Towards a new entanglement of voices” is a cycle of debates inspired by the desire and need to draw parallels, frictions and dialogues based on the museum, the collection and the city. It thinks about the museum at the crossroads of a divided world, looking at the collection beyond a Euro-centric point of view and envisioning the cultural project of the city. In 2022, as the CIAJG’s celebrates its 10th anniversary, it is time to put the museum’s goals into perspective, openly and speculatively confronting our “here and now” with other stories and other places of enunciation. Involving researchers, artists, activists, curators and theorists, “Towards a new entanglement of voices” will be held throughout the year, including various encounters at the CIAJG.
