Roundtable: “And yet, they move: public sculpture in Guimarães”
Following up on the roundtable “And yet, they move: public sculpture in Guimarães,” held in March, and the territorial visit “Caminhos em Volta” in July, we return for a second roundtable to share the knowledge gathered throughout the program. Armed with a symbolic and reflective map, we are guided through the sculptures of artists such as António de Azevedo, Soares dos Reis, João Cutileiro, Irene Vilar, António Duarte, Joaquim Correia, Augusto Vasconcelos, Filipe Vilas Boas, Eduardo Tavares, Hernâni Moreira, Ana Jotta, among others, engaging in a timeless dialogue.
This conversation is meant to be free-flowing and open, bringing together people from various fields who are all readers of the world around us. Metaphorically, we become listeners to the sculptures scattered throughout the municipality of Guimarães and to the stories that inhabit these places.
