Days in the Courtyard -Family Recipes
“Days in the Courtyard” is a program that includes workshops for families and the sharing of wonderful culinary recipes, inspired by and, whenever possible, held in one of the most beautiful spaces of the Casa da Memória: the Courtyard. In this place, conducive to reflection, pleasant and intimate, or through the large window of the “Other Futures” section of the Casa’s permanent exhibition, we can feel the change of the seasons. Carried by the slow passing of time, we will gather with a spirit of sharing, exploring the senses and memories.
At lunchtime, we invite you to join us in the kitchen of Casa da Memória to learn the stories behind the recipes we will taste. Recipes are a very important part of the emotional heritage of families from all around the world. They are vessels of memories, experiences, and bonds that endure through generations. In this “Family Recipes” event, we will once again celebrate the gastronomic and cultural diversity that so enriches the municipality of Guimarães.
