With the aim of strengthening community ties and promoting Guimarães Embroidery at a local level, a certified embroiderer will be invited to share an afternoon snack in the homes of residents of the municipality of Guimarães. This moment, marked by informality and affection, will provide an opportunity to share historical and technical aspects of the embroidery. Ultimately, the initiative seeks to create an emotional bond between the craft and people’s everyday lives. An open call will be launched for those who wish to open their homes to host an embroiderer.
