In Guimarães, we have grown up hearing about arroz pica no chão, rojões à minhota, and the delicious toucinho do céu, among many other traditional dishes. These are far more than flavours—they are vessels of memory, lived experience, and family ties that endure across generations. Yet Guimarães is also home to recipes from every corner of the world.

One Saturday every two months, we invite you to gather around the table with us to do what truly brings people and communities together: eat, drink, and share stories. Guest cooks from different countries will prepare traditional dishes while telling the stories of their lives.
